The Strangerhood is no stranger to Sims 2 players (which sadly does not include my sisters, and myself). Though at first you may question the funniness of these videos, once you watch them all you will realize that this is a fresh and innocent humor that is hard to find. Plus, it will really make you wish you had the Sims 2, which comes with a movie-making feature. EA games, after much review, is a great company. It is not only allowing people use their game as equipment, but is linking to some of them. When I was doing internship searches. I discovered that EA is rated as one of the best internship experiences. Check out the EA academy. Plus, it was founded by one of the geniuses of the gaming industry. Here a fansite. I’m entry number 20 in the guestbook.

Oh, and they have good games.
So, you have some of the reasons why I rate Electronic Arts as the Apple of the gaming industry... not that they are Apple friendly...and of course I haven't done enough research on Apple to see if the two companies really can compare. Do you think I just go around researching every company that has something to do with computers?

Not to long go, when I was moving back home for the summer I decided it would be fine to pack my umbrella. To send it home before I made the final trip. I figured it would do me no harm, if it rained it wouldn’t rain much… I was wrong… While thinking about my umbrella… which of course had to miss me and must have called the rain… I realized that I have seen people in amine’s use an umbrella when it is snowing. Why don’t we do that? Just think of it, if the snow is being blown in you face put the umbrella in fount of you, and straggle the semi-blizzard without having you face turn into a snowman.

Today I studied. I would explain what study is, but at this time I wish it had never been invented. I treasure the inventor of ice cream, and the inventor of the Internet (Al Gore), but you who created study, your name has been cursed by young children for generations, and will continue to be cursed as long as this travesty you unleashed on the world continues. Curse you Mr. Study, you and your little hamster too. May you’re nose become smaller, and your feet be put in high-heeled top of the line fashionable shoes. May you be forced to ware designer clothes all the time, even in your sleep. May humongous diamonds weight down your fingers, and may Rolex’s cover your arms. (Music fills the air) Curse you, you bloody barker. Angel of study, demon of the night, my Furby dances upon your grave. I am the Phantom of the Textbook. Come to me the Phantom of the Textbook.

(Music fades and is replaced by the sound of a ringing school bell… The young rebel, and main creator wakes up to find that they had sleep through math class. After dragging her textbooks to her locker she gets ready for gym class. All the while the soundtrack is filled with a chorus singing, “I am the Phantom of the Textbook.”) The main character tries to build a time machine to go back in time to defeat the Phantom at its source, but soon finds that she can only do such through textbooks. These textbooks awakened by an ancient survival magic, that is of course found in all textbooks, change their words around, and send our main character, and her little Yorkie, to an adventure through time and space. This young girl is lost on the Easter Isles, and unable to understand the native language. Luckily her little Yorkie was inhibited by the Ife god of chaos. This god, the long time revival of the Phantom of Study, slowly leads her through history to the Phantom creating cosmic tangles in the delicate weaving of time along the way. Will our young rebel destroy the Phantom or will she go back through history to untangle the mess that she has made. Will? I’m just making the story up now right now (and I should be studing)… what do you think.

Note to self, fleece does not react well to being ironed at the cotton setting. I learned this the hard way, which I didn’t think of before because I have never tired to iron a fabric at the wrong setting before. Good thing I got more then I need to be safe… (There is more to this, but I will not get sidetracked, and my focus is… I love Queen even if Queen does not attend wedding because queen cannot stomach cake, and would be forced to eat such. When in doubt don’t attend.)

What did I do this weekend? Did I party up until 5? Did I go skinny-dipping? Did I rob a bank? No, what I did was much better. I quilted while listening to Queen. Yes, I knew how to push the limits; I can fell conservative quilters all over the world gasping. My quilt is slowly coming along, but I need more binding. I think a deep red will complement it well. I want, I want, I want to break free. Really I am so sick of college right now. I want to go and just sleep in the grass, and listen to the birds. You know cats know how to live. Hey Boy where’d you get it from. Defying the laws of gravity. I’m burning though the sky. I’m gonna make a supersonic man out of you. Hmmm… what would my grandma think of quilting and Queen. Do you think she would appreciate a good beat? Creative subliminal lyrics… My quilt is not even close to my grandma’s quilts, or my mothers. I have better fabrics, that I dyed myself, but I have no skill at the actual sawing part of it. Give me. Body language. I really should be working on my photo project right now. I have about 300 photos, which I have edited down to 92. I think that they are a good 92 photos, but I need to find out a good way to present them. I don’t want to make them into a book. I kind of to project them onto a backdrop of newspaper to see what it would look like. I’ve got a case of body language. I would have to figure out a way that it fits into the thrift theme, but I think that I would look great. I’ll survive. I’ll survive. I’ll survive. Open up your mind, and let me step inside. All you have to do is fall in love. Play the game. Come on everyone sing with me. Play the game.

Everybody play the game of love. (This Queen song if very Beatles inspired.) I wish there where people as great as Queen in popular culture today. Who do you know of who can be inspired by old-fashioned melody, the Beatles, and 50’s music, and put real hard rock into it. Plus, poetic lyrics, and great voices. People say that hard rock is hard today, but its really just one group of sell outs after another. Even if Queen was faking at least they could rock. I’ve done it. I’ve really done it. Not some three years ago I promised myself that I would not stop listening to pop culture so that I would never be out of date, and say "Way back in the day things where better". Not only have I stopped caring for pop culture, but I’ve also concluded that the music I was listening to then is horrible, and embarrassing. Now I proudly say that I love Classical, and Old-Fashioned hard rock. Plus, I like natural sound, the sounds that surround you as you walk down the street. I’m sure that there are some good sounds out in the world today, but I will let time filter out all the noise. I’m sure in Queen's time, there were many other, similar bands that interfered with Queen’s unquestionable reign. Over time the others disappeared until Queen sang out loud, and clear, the embodiment of an era. When I first heard Queen’s as a young kid I didn’t like them because I didn’t like any band that sang about girl's bums making the world go around. I was so wrong. Since then this theme seems to have caught on. Even though I no longer think Queen is really singing about ‘girls’ with big bum’s. Can anybody find me somebody to love? Really has popular culture lost trick of the power of a good chorus, and I’m not talking about just three girls in the background. The art of the chorus has been developed over centuries. I don’t think that music is an art form that can stand alone in history forgetting about the masters before them. I don’t know of any art that can really do this. I think that most popular artists today need to spend a year of intense music study. Are you ready? Hey.! … another one bite the dust. Bmm Bmm Bmm another one bites the dust. I wander what the music scene is doing nowadays. U know, they sometimes come out with something good. As for me I am a rock, I am an iiiisland. You know what. I think I tend to like music with guys singing more then men. I think I just like the male voice more. I find most female voices annoying, and if they are good then they are most likely singing something that is only called music because there are some talented people playing on instruments in the background.

If perfect weather cannot inspire me then I am doomed to spend an eternality writing in purgatory because it must be a sin to be unmoved by sunshine, flowers and cold breezes. I hope this weather stays around for a while so I can go on a picnic. I might even invite my brother to play Frisbee. Earlier today I ran into the perfect ray of sunshine to complement my sunshine. For evidence that this little ray is the perfect match for the sun continue reading.

My family came to town yesterday, and we went to a museum. The museum was dark, and very out of date. I saw snakes in jars, and the results of evil hunting expedients. It was boring. My sisters where mad about random things, and my nephew was bouncing off the walls because my Mom refused to medicate him. (Which is a good thing, I just don’t think he was used to having any energy, so he doesn’t know how to control it.)

Today I took a lot pictures of Thrift Shops. You have already seen some of the results of my first attempt in current art, this time I tried to get the bigger picture, and the less beautiful details. It's just my luck that when I go to the Thrift Shop to get pictures of ugly junk, the shop has restocked so that the junk is hidden. So in short, I ended up just getting the bigger picture, and a lot of weird looks from people who don't understand art. I will add some of the results from my "Thrift Mission part II" after some extreme editing.

I am introducing the subject, “What is a Blog?” I find that this is a good topic to start with whenever you start a Blog. As you can see from my ‘About section’ I do not like to define things, but I still call this site an Art Blog. The trouble with definitions is that once you define something you overlook curtain possibilities.
I will not write more on this subject now, but expect me to come back to this topic, define my site, and then come back to it again. In the end I will end up just writing about my day.

Dear Web Diary,
I talked about pizza from Whole Food today with my sister. She told me that she read on a blog that they have deals on their Pizza on Wed’s. I don’t like much of the stuff at Whole Food (too overpriced), but I love their pizza. I had pizza yesterday. It wasn’t that good. It wasn't that bad. I talked about Furbies while eating, and entertained my companion. Then I started talking about boring stuff… Diary what do you think about Furbies?

As you can see the site is almost ready to be launched. I have added an entry into sound (Which may be the only sound piece that I ever do, because I do not know how to play anything.), the photo area has a new slideshows, and a proof page has been added which might be taken down at the end of April. All that I really have left to do is to complete the About page.

Mission Statement: To boldly go where no woman has gone before, and seek out strange objects in the galaxy of Thrift shops, to take pictures of objects in the most artistic way that is possible.
